Meals de Colombia is a company that forms part of Grupo Nacional de Chocolates, dedicated to the production and marketing of juices (Country Hill), dairy drinks (Yoplait), and ice cream (Cremhelado). It holds a leading position in Colombia in all three categories, thanks to a strong cold chain network with a national presence in more than 70,000 stores and commercial establishments, including chains, retailers, and supermarkets. With numerous production plants within the country, Meals decided to focus on a strategy to modernize its information systems in order to provide greater support for the company's operations. For this reason, they chose to install SAP ERP to automate operational processes in various areas of the company, such as production, sales, purchasing, quality, cost, and finance, among others; and SAP BW, with which SAP information was integrated, particularly for product sales, finance, and costs.
